Musnad Ahmad 13866 — Musnad of Anas ibn Malik

It is narrated from Hazrat Anas bin Malik (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saw a man walking with the support of his two sons’ shoulders. He asked, "What is the matter with him?" They informed him that he had vowed to perform Hajj on foot. The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Allah is free from needing this man to put himself in hardship." Then the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) ordered him to ride, so he rode.
