(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَفَّانُ ، وَأَبُو كَامِلٍ ، قَالَا : حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنَّ رَجُلًا ، قَالَ : يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، الرَّجُلُ يُحِبُّ الْقَوْمَ وَلَا يَبْلُغُ عَمَلَهُمْ ، قَالَ : " الْمَرْءُ مَعَ مَنْ أَحَبَّ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that a man submitted in the court of the Messenger, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! A man loves a certain people but cannot reach their deeds, so what is the ruling?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "A person will be with those whom he loves."
