(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَزِيدَ ، حَدَّثَنَا صَدَقَةُ صَاحِبُ الدَّقِيقِ ، عَنْ أَبِي عِمْرَانَ الْجَوْنِيِّ ، عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ ، قَالَ : " وَقَّتَ لَنَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي قَصِّ الشَّارِبِ ، وَتَقْلِيمِ الْأَظْفَارِ ، وَحَلْقِ الْعَانَةِ ، أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) set the period of forty days for us regarding trimming the moustache, cutting the nails, and removing the hair below the navel.
