(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا غَسَّانُ بْنُ الرَّبِيعِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَمَّادٌ ، عَنْ ثَابِتٍ ، وَحُمَيْدٌ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ : أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، قَالَ : " حُفَّتْ الْجَنَّةُ بِالْمَكَارِهِ ، وَحُفَّتْ النَّارُ بِالشَّهَوَاتِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Paradise has been surrounded by hardships and Hell has been surrounded by desires.
