(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَوْزَاعِيُّ ، حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عُبَيْدِ اللَّهِ ، قَالَ : قَدِمَ أَنَسُ بْنُ مَالِكٍ عَلَى الْوَلِيدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْمَلِكِ فَسَأَلَهُ : مَاذَا سَمِعْتَ مِنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يَذْكُرُ بِهِ السَّاعَةَ ؟ قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، يَقُولُ : " أَنْتُمْ وَالسَّاعَةُ كَهَاتَيْنِ " .
Once, Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) went to Walid bin Abdul Malik. He asked him, "What have you heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say about the Day of Judgment?" He replied, "I heard the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) say: 'You and the Day of Judgment are like these two fingers.'"
