(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ سُلَيْمٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : " بَعَثَنِي النَّبِيُّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فِي حَاجَةٍ ، فَجِئْتُ وَهُوَ يَأْكُلُ تَمْرًا وَهُوَ مُقْعٍ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that once the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent me for some task of his. When I returned, the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was sitting squatting and eating dates.
