(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا بَهْزٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، أَخْبَرَنِي عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ أَبِي بَكْرٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : سُئِلَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْكَبَائِرِ ؟ أَوْ ذَكَرَهَا ، قَالَ : " الشِّرْكُ ، وَالْعُقُوقُ ، وَقَتْلُ النَّفْسِ ، وَشَهَادَةُ الزُّورِ ، أَوْ قَوْلُ : الزُّورِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) was asked about the major sins, so the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: They are these—associating partners with Allah, killing unjustly, disobedience to parents, and speaking falsehood or giving false testimony.
