(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عُبَيْدَةَ الْحَدَّادُ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ بُدَيْلِ بْنِ مَيْسَرَةَ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ , قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " إِنَّ لِلَّهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ أَهْلِينَ مِنَ النَّاسِ " ، قَالَ : قِيلَ : مَنْ هُمْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ؟ ، قَالَ : " أَهْلُ الْقُرْآنِ ، هُمْ أَهْلُ اللَّهِ وَخَاصَّتُهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Among the people, there are some who are the people of Allah. The companions (may Allah be pleased with them) asked, "O Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him)! Who are those people?" He replied: The people of the Qur'an; they are the special people of Allah and His people.
