(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا الدَّسْتُوَائِيُّ ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ " نَهَى أَنْ يَشْرَبَ الرَّجُلُ قَائِمًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) forbade anyone from drinking water while standing.
