(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ ، حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : سَمِعْتُ أَنَسَ بْنَ مَالِكٍ ، يَقُولُ : " أَنْفَجْنَا أَرْنَبًا بِمَرِّ الظَّهْرَانِ ، قَالَ : فَسَعَى عَلَيْهَا الْغِلْمَانُ حَتَّى لَغَبُوا ، قَالَ : فَأَدْرَكْتُهَا ، فَأَتَيْتُ بِهَا أَبَا طَلْحَةَ ، فَذَبَحَهَا ، ثُمَّ بَعَثَ مَعِي بِوَرِكِهَا إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ فَقَبِلَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that at a place called Mar al-Zahran, a rabbit suddenly appeared before us. The children ran towards it, but they could not catch it until they became tired. I caught it and brought it to Hazrat Abu Talha (may Allah be pleased with him). He slaughtered it and sent one of its sides to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) by my hand, and the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) accepted it.
