(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ ، أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، وَيَعْلَى بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، قَالَ : حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ ، عَنْ نُفِيعٍ ، عَنْ أَنَسٍ ، قَالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " مَا مِنْ أَحَدٍ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ غَنِيٍّ وَلَا فَقِيرٍ ، إِلَّا وَدَّ أَنَّمَا كَانَ أُوتِيَ مِنَ الدُّنْيَا قُوتًا " ، قَالَ يَعْلَى : " فِي الدُّنْيَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, every poor and wealthy person will wish that he had been given only as much in the world as was sufficient for his needs.
