(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا الْأَعْمَشُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سُفْيَانَ ، عَنْ جَابِرٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ ، قَالَ : دَخَلْتُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ " يُصَلِّي مُتَوَشِّحًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I presented myself before the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him), and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) performed prayer by placing both ends of a cloth over both his shoulders.
