(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ ، حَدَّثَنَا حَرْبُ بْنُ شَدَّادٍ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى الْمَهْرِيِّ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بَعَثَ بَعْثًا إِلَى بَنِي لِحْيَانَ ، مِنْ هُذَيْلٍ ، فَقَالَ : " لِيَنْبَعِثْ مِنْ كُلِّ رَجُلَيْنِ أَحَدُهُمَا ، وَالْأَجْرُ بَيْنَهُمَا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) sent this message to Banu Lihyan: One of every two men should go out for jihad, and both will receive the reward.
