(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَهْدِيٍّ ، حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَمْرِو بْنِ حَلْحَلَةَ ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ ، عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ ، وأبى سعيد الخدري ، أن رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " مَا يُصِيبُ الْمُؤْمِنَ مِنْ وَصَبٍ وَلَا نَصَبٍ ، وَلَا هَمٍّ وَلَا حَزَنٍ ، وَلَا أَذًى وَلَا غَمٍّ ، حَتَّى الشَّوْكَةِ يُشَاكُهَا إِلَّا كَفَّرَ اللَّهُ مِنْ خَطَايَاهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) and Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Whatever worry, hardship, grief, illness, or sorrow befalls a Muslim, even the thorn that pricks him, Allah expiates his sins through them.
