(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبَانُ ، عَنْ يَحْيَى ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ، عَنْ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، أَنّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " إِذَا رَأَيْتُمْ الْجَنَازَةَ فَقُومُوا ، فَمَنْ اتَّبَعَهَا فَلَا يَقْعُدْ حَتَّى تُوضَعَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: When you see a funeral, stand up, and whoever accompanies the funeral should not sit down before the funeral is placed on the ground.
