(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا شَيْبَانُ ، عَنْ فِرَاسٍ ، عَنْ عَطِيَّةَ ، أَنَّ أَبَا سَعِيدٍ حَدَّثَهُ ، عَنْ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ ، أَنَّهُ قَالَ : " مَنْ جَرَّ ثَوْبَهُ مِنَ الْخُيَلَاءِ لَمْ يَنْظُرْ اللَّهُ إِلَيْهِ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ " ، قَالَ : وَحَدَّثَنِي بِهَذَا ابْنُ عُمَرَ أَيْضًا .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed Khudri (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: Allah will not look with mercy upon the person who drags his lower garment on the ground out of pride.
