(حديث مرفوع) حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْوَارِثِ ، حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ ، حَدَّثَنَا مُطَرِّفٌ ، عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ أَبِي نَوْفٍ ، عَنِ سَلِيطِ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ ، عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي سَعِيدٍ الْخُدْرِيِّ ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ ، قَالَ : انْتَهَيْتُ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَهُوَ يَتَوَضَّأُ مِنْ بِئْرِ بُضَاعَةَ ، فَقُلْتُ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ، تَوَضَّأُ مِنْهَا وَهِيَ يُلْقَى فِيهَا مَا يُلْقَى مِنَ النَّتْنِ ! فَقَالَ : " إِنَّ الْمَاءَ لَا يُنَجِّسُهُ شَيْءٌ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Saeed (may Allah be pleased with him) that once I came to the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) and he was performing ablution with the water of Bir Buda’ah. I said, "O Messenger of Allah! So much filth is thrown into it, yet you are performing ablution with it?" The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said, "Nothing can make water impure."
