حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ حَفْصٍ , أَخْبَرَنَا وَرْقَاءُ , عَنْ أَبِي الزِّنَادِ , عَنِ الْأَعْرَجِ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " يَكُونُ كَنْزُ أَحَدِكُمْ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ شُجَاعًا أَقْرَعَ , يَفِرُّ مِنْهُ صَاحِبُهُ , وَهُوَ يَطْلُبُهُ حَتَّى يُلْقِمَهُ أَصَابِعَهُ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: On the Day of Resurrection, the treasure of the treasurer will become a bald snake. The owner will flee from it, and it will keep following him until it takes his fingers into its mouth as a morsel.
