حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُبَيْدٍ , حَدَّثَنَا دَاوُدُ الْأَوْدِيُّ , عَنْ أَبِيهِ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , عَنِ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ قَالَ : " عَسَى أَنْ يَبْعَثَكَ رَبُّكَ مَقَامًا مَحْمُودًا سورة الإسراء آية 79 , قَالَ : هُوَ الْمَقَامُ الَّذِي أَشْفَعُ لِأُمَّتِي فِيهِ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said in the explanation of "Maqam Mahmood": This is the very station where I will stand and intercede for my Ummah.
