حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ آدَمَ , حَدَّثَنَا قُطْبَةُ , عَنِ الْأَعْمَشِ , عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمَدِينَةُ حَرَمٌ , فَمَنْ أَحْدَثَ فِيهَا حَدَثًا , أَوْ آوَى مُحْدِثًا , فَعَلَيْهِ لَعْنَةُ اللَّهِ وَالْمَلَائِكَةِ وَالنَّاسِ أَجْمَعِينَ , لَا يَقْبَلُ اللَّهُ مِنْهُ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ عَدْلًا وَلَا صَرْفًا " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Medina is a sanctuary. Whoever introduces an innovation in it or gives refuge to an innovator, upon him is the curse of Allah, the angels, and all people. On the Day of Resurrection, Allah will not accept from him any obligatory or voluntary act."
