حَدَّثَنَا مُوسَى بْنُ دَاوُدَ , حَدَّثَنَا زُهَيْرٌ , عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ , عَنْ أَبِي صَالِحٍ , عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ , قََالَ : قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ : " الْمُؤَذِّنُ مُؤْتَمَنٌ , وَالْإِمَامُ ضَامِنٌ , اللَّهُمَّ أَرْشِدْ الْأَئِمَّةَ , وَاغْفِرْ لِلْمُؤَذِّنِينَ " .
It is narrated from Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Noble Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: The imam is responsible and the muezzin is trustworthy. O Allah, guide the imams and forgive the muezzins.
