حَدَّثَنَا سُحَيْمُ بْنُ الْقَاسِمِ الْحَرَّانِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا عِيسَى بْنُ يُونُسَ عَنِ الْوَصَّافِيِّ، عَنْ مُحَارِبِ بْنِ دِثَارٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ، أَنّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ : " إِنَّ أَهْلَ السَّمَاءِ لا يَسْمَعُونَ شَيْئًا مِنْ أَهْلِ الأَرْضِ إِلا الأَذَانَ " .
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar, may Allah be pleased with them both, that the Noble Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said: "Indeed, those who dwell in the heavens do not hear anything from the people of the earth except the call to prayer (adhan)."
