٢٢٨٨٨ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن أبي زائدة عن محمد بن إسحاق ⦗١٠٠⦘ عن نافع عن ابن عمر أن مكاتبًا له عجز فرده (١) مملوكًا وأمسك ما أخذ منه (٢).
The slave of Hazrat Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) became unable to pay the amount of his contract of manumission, so he took him back as a slave and kept with himself what he had already received from him.
٢٢٨٨٩ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حفص عن أشعث عن (أبي) (١) الزبير عن جابر قال: لهم ما أخذوا منه (٢).
Hazrat Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that whatever is received from it will belong to the master.
٢٢٨٩٠ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا ابن أبي زائدة ووكيع عن إسماعيل عن الشعبي عن مسروق قال: (يجعله) (١) في مثله.
Hazrat Masrooq (may Allah have mercy on him) says that we will keep it like this.
٢٢٨٩١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا جرير عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم قال: ينظر ما كان أعانه الناس في مكاتبته فيجعله في الرقاب، وما كان من كسبه وماله (فهو) (١) لمولاه.
Ibrahim (may Allah have mercy on him) said that it will be seen that the wealth which people gave as assistance for the payment of the contract of emancipation will belong to the slaves, and the wealth which he (the slave) earned himself will belong to the master.
٢٢٨٩٢ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حفص عن حجاج عن الحكم عن إبراهيم عن شريح قال: يجعله في مثله.
Hazrat Masrooq (may Allah have mercy on him) says that we will keep it like this.
٢٢٨٩٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا وكيع عن حسن بن صالح عن مجالد عن الشعبي عن شريح قال: هو لمولاه.
Hazrat Shurayh (may Allah have mercy on him) says that it will belong to his master. Ibrahim says that it will be given to someone like him (i.e., a mukatab).
٢٢٨٩٤ - وقال سفيان عن مغيرة عن إبراهيم: يجعله في الرقاب.
22894 - Sufyan said, from Mughira, from Ibrahim: He puts it towards freeing necks (slaves).
