Ruling on the Blood of Flies and Fleas

Hazrat Abu Ja'far and Hazrat Ata considered the blood of lice and mosquitoes to be pure.

Hazrat Ash'ath bin Sawar narrates that Hasan considered the blood of a bee, mosquito, and flea to be pure.

Hazrat Hisham bin Urwah narrates that I offered prayer in a garment on which there was the blood of a fly. I asked my father about this, and he replied that there is no harm in it.

Hazrat Aamir and Hazrat Ata say that there is no harm in the blood of a flea.

Hazrat Harith bin Malik says that I was present with Hasan in his house when a man came and asked: If a person spends the night in some clothes and in the morning finds a lot of flea blood on his clothes, should he wash it, sprinkle water on it, or pray in those clothes as they are? He replied: He should neither sprinkle water on it nor wash it, rather he should pray in that condition.
