٩٧٢٧ - حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن عبد الكريم عن عمر بن عبد العزيز أن قومًا شهدوا على هلال رمضان بعد ما أصبح الناس فقال: من لم يأكل فليتم صومه ومن أكل (فليصم) (١) بقية (يومه) (٢).
Abd al-Karim says: In the time of Umar bin Abd al-Aziz, people testified during the day to having seen the moon, saying: We saw the moon last night. Umar bin Abd al-Aziz said: Whoever has not eaten should complete his fast, and whoever has eaten should refrain from eating and drinking for the rest of the day.
