Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 970 — Those who said: water is from water

Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid (may Allah be pleased with him) asked Sayyiduna Uthman (may Allah be pleased with him), "If a man has intercourse with his wife and does not ejaculate, what should he do?" Sayyiduna Uthman said, "He should perform wudu as for prayer and wash his private organ." Sayyiduna Uthman said, "I heard the same from the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) as well." Sayyiduna Zayd bin Khalid says: I put the same question to Sayyiduna Ali, Sayyiduna al-Zubayr, Sayyiduna Talhah and Sayyiduna Ubayy bin Ka'b, and all of them gave the same answer.
