Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 9237 — Those who said: of travellers, some
٩٢٣٧ - حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن حميد قال: (خرجت) (١) فصمت فقالوا (لي) (٢): أعد (قال) (٣) فقلت: إن أنسًا (أخبرني) (٤) أن أصحاب رسول اللَّه ﷺ كانوا يسافرون فلا يعيب الصائم على المفطر ولا المفطر على الصائم (٥).
Humayd said: I was on a journey and I fasted, and people said to me: "You will have to repeat this fast." I said: "Sayyiduna Anas (may Allah be pleased with him) told me that the Companions used to travel, and the one fasting would not find fault with the one not fasting, nor the one not fasting with the one fasting."
