٨٩٢١ - حدثنا عبد الوهاب الثقفي عن حميد عن أنس عن (عبادة) (١) بن الصامت قال: خرج علينا رسول اللَّه ﷺ وهو يريد أن يخبرهم بليلة القدر فتلاحى رجلان فقال: "إني خرجت و (أنا) (٢) أريد أن أخبركم بليلة القدر فتلاحى ⦗٤٠٧⦘ فلان وفلان (فلعل) (٣) ذلك أن يكون خيرا التمسوها في التاسعة والسابعة والخامسة" (٤).
Sayyiduna Ubadah bin al-Samit (may Allah be pleased with him) said: Once the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) came out to tell the people about Laylat al-Qadr, and two men were quarrelling. He said: "I came to inform you about Laylat al-Qadr, but so-and-so and so-and-so were quarrelling; perhaps there is good in that. Seek it on the ninth, the seventh and the fifth night."
