Hadith 7829
٧٨٢٩ - حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن سعيد بن مسروق عن أبي عمرو الشيباني قال: سمعت (رب) (١) هذه الدار -يعني ابن مسعود- حلف فبالغ في اليمين ما صلت ⦗١٣٩⦘ امرأة صلاة أحب إلى اللَّه من صلاة في بيتها إلا في حج (أو عمرة) (٢) إلا امرأة قد أيست من البعولة (٣).
Abu Amr al-Shaibani says that I heard the owner of this house, i.e., Ibn Mas'ud, saying, and he swore emphatically that there is no prayer of a woman more beloved to Allah than the prayer she performs in her room. However, the prayer of Hajj and Umrah is an exception to this, and a woman who is no longer able for her husband is also an exception to this.
