٤٠٦٣٩ - قال: قال (عمر) (١) بن قيس: فحدثنا رجل من حضرموت يقال له: أبو قيس، قال: لا نادى قنبر: من عرف شيئا فليأخذه، مر رجل على (قدر لنا) (٢) ونحن نطبخ فيها فأخذها، (فقلنا) (٣): دعها حتى ينضج ما فيها، قال: فضربها برجله ثم أخذها (٤).
Umar bin Qays said: A man from Hadramawt called Abu Qays told us: When Qanbar called out, "Let those who recognize their things take them," a man passed by us while we were cooking something in a pot. He picked up the pot. We said: "Leave it until what is in it has cooked." Abu Qays said: He kicked the pot and then took hold of it and walked off.
