Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 39421 — The great Battle of Badr, how it came

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him): It was said to Sayyiduna Abu Bakr al-Siddiq (may Allah be pleased with him) and to me on the day of Badr: "With one of you is Jibril and with the other Mika'il, and Israfil, a great angel, is also present in the fighting." Or he said: "He too is standing in the ranks."
