Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 37372 — The words of Ibn Umar
٣٧٣٧٢ - حدثنا أبو أسامة عن عثمان بن واقد (عن نافع) (١) قال: (قال) (٢) (٣) عبد اللَّه بن عمر (٤) هذه الآية: ﴿أَلَمْ يَأْنِ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا أَنْ تَخْشَعَ قُلُوبُهُمْ لِذِكْرِ ⦗٣٧٠⦘ اللَّهِ﴾ (٥) [الحديد: ١٦] (٦).
Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) recited this verse: "Has the time not come for those who believe that their hearts should humble themselves to the remembrance of Allah?" [Al-Hadid: 16], and he wept.
