٣٦٩١٩ - حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الأعمش عن عمرو بن مرة عن أبي عبيدة عن أبي موسى قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: " (يدا) (١) اللَّه (بسطان) (٢) لمسئ الليل أن يتوب بالنهار، ولمسيء النهار أن يتوب بالليل، حتى تطلع الشمس من مغربها" (٣).
It is narrated from Sayyiduna Abu Musa (may Allah be pleased with him) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Allah Almighty has spread out both His hands for the sinner of the night, that he may repent during the day, and for the sinner of the day, that he may repent during the night. The door of repentance remains open until the sun rises from the west."
