Hadith 35315
٣٥٣١٥ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا سفيان عن صالح مولى التوأمة عن أبي هريرة قال: قال رسول اللَّه ﷺ: "أمرت أن أقاتل الناس حتى يقولوا: لا إله إلا اللَّه، فإذا قالوا: لا إله إلا اللَّه، حرمت علي دماؤهم وأموالهم إلا بحقها، وحسابهم على اللَّه" (١).
Hazrat Abu Huraira (may Allah be pleased with him) narrates that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said: I have been commanded to fight the people until they say La ilaha illallah (there is no god but Allah). When they say La ilaha illallah, their lives and their wealth become protected from me except for a right of Islam, and their reckoning is with Allah.
