٣٤٨٨٣ - حدثنا وكيع قال: ثنا سفيان عن أبي إسحاق عن قيس بن سكن الأسدي قال: قال عبد اللَّه: إنكم نزلتم بين فارس والنبط، فإذا اشتريتم لحما (١) فإن كان ذبيحة يهودي أو نصراني فكلوه، وإن ذبحه مجوسي فلا تأكلوه (٢).
Qays bin al-Sakan al-Asadi (may Allah have mercy on him) said that Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Mas'ud (may Allah be pleased with him) stated: You are settling among the Persians and the Nabataeans. So when you buy meat from them, if it was slaughtered by a Jew or a Christian, eat it, and if a Magian slaughtered it, do not eat it.
