Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 34021 — What Allah gave Sulayman bin Dawud
٣٤٠٢١ - حدثنا وكيع عن ثابت (بن) (١) عمارة عن عبد اللَّه بن (معبد) (٢) (الزماني) (٣) قال لم تنزل: ﴿بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ﴾ في شيء من القرآن إلا في سورة النمل: ﴿إِنَّهُ مِنْ سُلَيْمَانَ وَإِنَّهُ بِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ﴾.
Abdullah bin Ma'bad al-Zimmani said: "In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful" was not revealed anywhere in the Qur'an except in Surah al-Naml, where He says: "It is from Sulayman, and it is in the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful."
