Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 23821 — On the words of Allah the Exalted
٢٣٨٢١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا حميد (عن) (١) (الحسن) (٢) عن (سالم عن) (٣) عن (سعيد) (٤) بن جبير في قوله: ﴿وَلَا يَأْبَ الشُّهَدَاءُ إِذَا مَا دُعُوا﴾ قال: هو ⦗٣٤٦⦘ الرجل (يشهد) (٥) على الشهادة ثم يدعى لها.
Sa'id bin Jubayr (may Allah have mercy on him) said concerning the saying of Allah, "And the witnesses must not refuse when they are called": "This is the person who bears witness to someone's testimony and is then called for it."
