Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 23421 — A man who steals the boundary
٢٣٤٢١ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا أبو الأحوص (عن) (١) طارق عن ابن ⦗٢٣٥⦘ سابط قال: لعن النبي ﷺ أربعة: من أهلَّ لغير اللَّه، ومن آوى محدثًا، ومن عن والديه، ومن سرق المنار، قال: قلت: وما المنار؟ قال: الرجل يأخذ من أرض صاحبه في أرضه (٢).
Ibn Sabit said: The Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) cursed four people: the one who sacrifices in the name of other than Allah, the one who gives shelter to a wrongdoer, the one who disobeys his parents, and the one who steals the manar. The narrator said: I asked: "What is meant by manar?" (He said:) "The one who takes his brother's land and adds it to his own land."
