٢١٨١٣ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: حدثنا عبد الوهاب الثقفي عن يحيى بن سعيد عن عروة أن مروان كان يقضي إذا أدى المكاتب نصف مكاتبته فهو دين يتبع به فذكرت ذلك لعبد الملك بن مروان فأبى أن يأخذ به.
Urwah says that Marwan used to give the judgment that when a mukatab has paid half of his kitabah payment, the rest is a debt. I mentioned this to Abd al-Malik bin Marwan, and he refused to accept it.
