Hadith 19606
١٩٦٠٦ - حدثنا أبو بكر قال: نا ابن عيينة عن الشيباني (عن الشعبي) (١) عن عمرو (بن سلمة) (٢) بن (خَرِب) (٣) أن عليًا كان يوقفه بعد الأربعة حتى (يبين) (٤) رجعة أو طلاق (٥).
Hazrat Amr bin Salamah bin Harb (may Allah have mercy on him) narrates that Hazrat Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) used to suspend the ruling of Ilaa upon the husband after four months, so that he himself would declare whether there was reconciliation or divorce.
