Hadith 12811
١٢٨١١ - حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر وابن فضيل عن يحيى بن سعيد عن (عبيد) (١) اللَّه بن (زحر) (٢) عن أبي سعيد الرعيني عن (عبد) (٣) اللَّه بن مالك عن عقبة بن عامر الجهني قال: (نذرت) (٤) أختي أن تمشي حافية إلى بيت اللَّه غير مختمرة، فسألت النبي ﷺ فقال: "مر أختك فلتختمر (ولتركب) (٥) ولتصم ثلاثة أيام" (٦).
Hazrat Uqbah bin Amir narrates that my sister made a vow that she would go to the House of Allah barefoot and without wearing a shawl. I asked the Holy Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) about this, so he (peace and blessings be upon him) said: Instruct your sister to wear a shawl, ride (instead of walking), and fast for three days as expiation.
