Musannaf Ibn Abi Shaybah 11613 — Which side of the bier to begin

Ali al-Azdi said: I saw Sayyiduna Abdullah bin Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) at a funeral. The people carried the bier by its four sides, and he began by giving his shoulder on the right side first; then he moved away from it, but stayed close and did not go far.
