Mukhtasar Muslim (Abridged) 473 — Standing for funeral is abrogated

Sayyiduna Ali (may Allah be pleased with him) says: We saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) standing, so we also stood with him, and when he began to sit, we also began to sit, that is, during the funeral.
