Mukhtasar Muslim (Abridged) 1357 — Permissibility of lying on the back

'Ubad bin Tamim narrates from his uncle (may Allah be pleased with him) that he saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) lying on his back in the mosque with one leg placed over the other.
