Mukhtasar Muslim (Abridged) 1044 — Hand cut for theft of three

It is narrated from Sayyiduna Ibn Umar (may Allah be pleased with them both) that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) had the hand of a thief cut off for stealing a shield whose price was three dirhams.
