Returning by a different route after Eid prayer

Narrated Jabir (may Allah be pleased with him): The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to go to the Eid prayer ground by one route and return by another route.

The hadith of Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) regarding the play of the Abyssinians has already been mentioned (see the Book: Description of Prayer... Chapter: Armed people entering the mosque). In this narration, it is added that when Umar ibn al-Khattab (may Allah be pleased with him) scolded them, the Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Leave them, be at ease, O Banu Arfada."
