Mukhtasar Bukhari (Abridged) 504 — How far must one come for Friday

It is narrated from Umm al-Mu'minin Aisha Siddiqa (may Allah be pleased with her) that people used to do their work themselves, and when they went for Jumu'ah, they would go in that very state. So it was said to them: "If only you would perform ghusl (ritual bath)."
