حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ صَالِحٍ، ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي مَرْيَمَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الْجَبَّارِ بْنُ عُمَرَ، عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ أَبِي فَرْوَةَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ يُوسُفَ، عَنْ أَبِيهِ، عَنْ أُمِّ مُغِيثٍ: «أَنَّهَا سَمِعَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ» يَنْهَى عَنِ الْخَلِيطَيْنِ، فَقُلْتُ: وَمَا هُمَا؟ قَالَ: التَّمْرُ وَالزَّبِيبُ. وَكَانَتْ أُمُّ مُغِيثٍ جَدَّةَ رَبِيعَةَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، وَقَدْ صَلَّتِ الْقِبْلَتَيْنِ عَلَى عَهْدِ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ "
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Mughith (may Allah be pleased with her) that she heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) forbidding the making of nabidh by mixing two things. The narrator said: I asked: What are those two? It was said: Dates and raisins.
Umm Mughith was the grandmother of Rabi'ah bin Abi Abd al-Rahman, and she had prayed towards both qiblahs in the time of the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him).

It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Mughith (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Every intoxicant is unlawful."
