حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ حَنْبَلٍ، وَالْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، قَالَا: ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ خَالِدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْوَاسِطِيُّ، ثنا أَبِي، عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ أَبِي عَرُوبَةَ، عَنْ قَتَادَةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ الْخُزَاعِيَّةِ: أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْعَقِيقَةِ، فَقَالَ: «عَنِ الْغُلَامِ شَاتَانِ مُكَافَأَتَانِ، وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Kurz al-Khuza'iyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about the aqiqah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For a boy, two equivalent sheep, and for a girl, one sheep."
حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ التُّسْتَرِيُّ، ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ الرَّقِّيُّ، ثنا سُوَيْدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ، ثنا الْحَجَّاجُ بْنُ أَرْطَاةَ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ أَبِي رَبَاحٍ، عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ عُمَيْرٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ الْخُزَاعِيَّةِ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «فِي الْعَقِيقَةِ لِلْغُلَامِ شَاتَانِ، وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ»
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Kurz al-Khuza'iyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "In the aqiqah, for a boy there are two sheep, and for a girl one sheep."
حَدَّثَنَا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الدَّبَرِيُّ، أنا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ، أنا ابْنُ جُرَيْجٍ، أَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءٌ، عَنْ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتِ مَيْسَرَةَ بْنِ أَبِي خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ بَنِي كُرْزِ الْكَعْبِيِّينَ: أَنَّهَا سَأَلَتْ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْعَقِيقَةِ، فَقَالَ: " عَلَى الْغُلَامِ شَاتَانِ مُكَافَأَتَانِ، وَعَلَى الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ. قُلْتُ: مَا الْمُكَافَأَتَانِ؟ قَالَ: الْمِثْلَانِ "
It is narrated from Sayyidah Umm Bani Kurz al-Ka'biyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) that she asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about the aqiqah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Upon a boy, two equivalent sheep, and upon a girl, one sheep." (The narrator said:) I asked: "What does 'equivalent' mean?" He said: "That the two be alike."
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا سُفْيَانُ، عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ، قَالَتْ: سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، يَقُولُ: «عَنِ الْغُلَامِ شَاتَانِ مُكَافَأَتَانِ، وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ»
Sayyidah Umm Kurz (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I heard the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) saying: "For a boy, two equivalent sheep, and for a girl, one sheep."
حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ نَاجِيَةَ، ثنا يُوسُفُ بْنُ مُوسَى، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ مَغْرَاءَ، عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ حَبِيبَةَ بِنْتِ مَيْسَرَةَ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ، قَالَتْ: سَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ عَنِ الْعَقِيقَةِ، فَقَالَ: «عَنِ الْغُلَامِ شَاتَانِ مُكَافَأَتَانِ، وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ»
Sayyidah Umm Kurz (may Allah be pleased with her) narrates: I asked the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) about the aqiqah. He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "For a boy, two equivalent sheep, and for a girl, one sheep."
حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ هِشَامٍ الْمُسْتَمْلِي، ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ الْمَدِينِيِّ، ثنا وَهْبُ بْنُ جَرِيرٍ، حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، عَنْ قَيْسِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ عُثْمَانَ بِنْتِ خُثَيْمٍ، عَنْ أُمِّ كُرْزٍ: أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ، قَالَ: «فِي الْعَقِيقَة عَنِ الْغُلَامِ شَاتَانِ مُكَافَأَتَانِ، وَعَنِ الْجَارِيَةِ شَاةٌ»
