حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُسْلِمٍ الْكَشِّيُّ، ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللهِ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ، ثنا هِشَامُ بْنُ حَسَّانٍ، حَدَّثَتْنَا حَفْصَةُ بِنْتُ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، قَالَتْ: «غَزَوْتُ مَعَ النَّبِيِّ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ، أَخْلُفُهُمْ فِي رِحَالِهِمْ، وَأَصْنَعُ لَهُمُ الطَّعَامَ، وَأَجْبُرُ عَلَى الْجَرِيحِ وَأُدَاوِي الْمَرِيضَ»
Sayyidah Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I took part in seven military expeditions with the Prophet (peace and blessings be upon him). I would stay behind them looking after their belongings, prepare food for them, dress the wounds of the injured and treat the sick.
حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ بْنُ غَنَّامٍ، ثنا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ أَبِي شَيْبَةَ، ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحِيمِ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ، عَنْ هِشَامِ بْنِ حَسَّانٍ، عَنْ حَفْصَةَ بِنْتِ سِيرِينَ، عَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ، قَالَتْ: «غَزَوْتُ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللهِ صَلَّى اللهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ سَبْعَ غَزَوَاتٍ، أَخْلُفُهُمْ فِي رِحَالِهِمْ، وَأَصْنَعُ لَهُمُ الطَّعَامَ، وَأُدَاوِي الْجَرْحَى، وَأَقُومُ عَلَى الْمَرِيضِ»
Sayyidah Umm Atiyyah (may Allah be pleased with her) said: I took part in seven military expeditions with the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him). I would stay behind them looking after their belongings, prepare food for them, treat the wounded and nurse the sick.
